Introducing BENCHLAB 2
Taipei, Taiwan, October 8, 2026 – Illuminate your insights with BENCHLAB 2, a cutting-edge, real-time system telemetry solution engineered for PC DIY enthusiasts and R&D labs brought to you by Open Benchtable and ElmorLabs.

BENCHLAB 2 allows you to effortlessly monitor critical system metrics, including temperature, power usage, and voltage levels, as well as conveniently manage system fan speeds. It succeeds the original BENCHLAB launched in 2023 and brings several design and feature improvements, including:
- Improved noise and vdrop across all rails thanks to 6-layer PCB design.
- Per-pin 12VHPWR monitoring for both 12VHPWR connectors.
- 12VHPWR power in/out temperature monitoring.
- Additional mounting holes for Corsair Frame 4000D/5000D chassis.
- Support for mounting up to 2 SSDs.
- Add 5VSB switch function.
- Add physical power on and reset buttons.
- Add buzzer for audible warning.
- Integrated fault detection and alarm system for device protection.
- Replace separate power/reset headers with industry standard F_panel.

The BENCHLAB 2 connects to your system via a USB Type-C connector. Once connected, you can use our expanded software and Python tools to monitor system telemetry, log it to CSV, or export to HWiNFO.
“BENCHLAB 2 is a big step forward in how precisely and safely you can monitor a test system,” said Pieter-Jan Plaisier, Open Benchtable co-founder. “Per-pin 12VHPWR monitoring and integrated fault detection give our customers the visibility to catch problems before they damage expensive hardware.”
“With BENCHLAB2 we’ve listened to customer feedback and added a few ideas of our own to make the product even better,” said Jon Sandström, founder of ElmorLabs. “New onboard power buttons make operation easier, and software control allows the power supply to be disabled. The improved PCB layout also increases maximum power ratings and reduces voltage drop.”

BENCHLAB 2 is Now Available for US$249 MSRP
