Recent Shipment Delays (And What We’re Doing About It)
If you’re currently waiting for your order, you may notice that delivery times are longer than usual, especially for shipments entering the United States. We want to be transparent about what’s happening behind the scenes and explain why this is affecting your delivery.
What’s Causing the Delays?
Right now, two major global developments are impacting shipping times across the entire logistics industry:
1. Increased U.S. Customs Inspections
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection has recently introduced a new enforcement initiative called Operation 5H.
Under this program, shipments (especially electronics and hardware from China) are undergoing much stricter documentation checks than usual. Instead of random inspections, many packages now require a full paperwork audit before they can be cleared.
This has led to congestion at major entry points, adding several extra days to the customs clearance process for both air and sea shipments.
2. Global Air Freight Congestion
At the same time, disruptions near the Strait of Hormuz have impacted a significant portion of global shipping.
With maritime routes affected, many companies have shifted their cargo from sea to air transport. This sudden surge in demand has overwhelmed global air freight capacity, causing: crowded airports, limited cargo space, and rerouted and delayed flights
Even express shipments are being impacted as a result.
What We’re Doing
We’re actively working with our logistics partners every day to minimize delays wherever possible.
- Ensuring all shipments fully comply with the new Operation 5H requirements
- Double-checking documentation to avoid unnecessary holdups
- Monitoring your shipment closely as it moves through the system
Your order is on its way and fully compliant. It’s simply waiting its turn in the current backlog.
Thank You for Your Patience
We understand that waiting longer than expected can be frustrating. Please know that these delays are outside of our control, but we’re doing everything we can to keep things moving smoothly.
As soon as there’s an update to your tracking status, you’ll be notified right away. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. We’re always here to help.
